Eric Morehouse and Bob Miller join Kenealy Vaidya LLP
Kenealy Vaidya is pleased to announce that Eric Morehouse has joined the firm as a partner, and that Robert Miller has joined as of-counsel, both in our electro-mechanical section.
Eric Morehouse was formerly an equity partner with a large Northern Virginia based IP boutique law firm where he has practiced for nearly 18 years, assisting domestic and overseas corporations and technology firms in generating, developing and protecting intellectual property portfolios, and counseling clients on a variety of intellectual property matters. Mr. Morehouse has over 20 years of experience in patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions relating to patent invalidity and infringement, and patent infringement litigation. Over the last decade at that firm, Mr. Morehouse took a leading role in the training of attorneys and clients, including performing seminars covering various aspects of U.S. patent practice, such as new patent application and claim drafting, examination strategies and post-examination strategies. Mr. Morehouse has significant experience with numerous technologies, including aerospace, image processing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, computer software, electrical switches and connectors and telecommunications. Mr. Morehouse is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Morehouse holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Juris Doctorate.
Robert Miller was a partner with Eric Morehouse at his previous firm, where he for many years was in charge of the firm’s electro-mechanical patent prosecution group, managed the patent portfolios of various large corporations and performed all levels of patent prosecution. He also lectured and trained clients, attorneys and interns on a variety of aspects of patent practice. Mr. Miller has extensive experience in strategic patent portfolio development and management, and his practice includes assisting domestic and overseas corporations and technology firms with regard to patent application preparation, all levels of patent prosecution, and counseling clients on a variety of intellectual property matters. He has in-depth experience with numerous technologies, including aerospace, automotive, image processing, armaments, electronics, and computer software. Mr. Miller has a B.S. degree in Chemistry and a Juris Doctorate.
